With one moment

The consideration of a

  skylark’s song

Before the blossoming,

And a tiding of lost hope

To the great cruel world.

Emily Isaacson

At insistence of company

We are worn by use

  that endears us,

But the day by day monotony

Of voice upon voice, bearing

  down upon

The unconcienced mind,

  and truth, waylaid.
